LIBERTEX: WORSE THAN YOU IMAGINE

Real reviews of Libertex: fees, platforms, and trader experiences.
Libertex Reviews: Fees, Security, and Experience

Do I recommend Libertex?
No. I don't recommend it.

Is it a good broker?
It's just another one of the bunch. It has decent regulation, well-known platforms, and average spreads and commissions.

what's wrong with it?
Well, its advisors. They're clowns. The worst part is the advisors, and the broker doesn't really stand out in any way. It's not exactly a scam, but using it feels like buying a cheap knock-off of a luxury item. It might meet the bare minimum, but it definitely won't be my first choice when selecting a broker.

Be very careful with this broker and their advisors. If you don't know about trading and follow their advice, you'll lose everything very quickly.

What is Libertex? Broker overview

Libertex stands out as one of the brokers with the strongest advertising presence in the Spanish-speaking market. Its image is linked to well-known figures, such as James Rodríguez, which provides an initial level of trust with new users and reinforces its legitimacy compared to less visible competitors.

Among its main features:

  • Aggressive advertising: Investment in marketing has led Libertex to partner with international teams and celebrities, increasing its brand awareness.
  • Variety of trading platforms: It offers access to both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, tools recognized by experienced traders, as well as its own native platform, designed specifically to facilitate the experience of those taking their first steps.
  • Focus on simplicity: The visual and functional environment is designed for the inexperienced user. Intuitive menus, simplified operations, and a low learning curve are recurring elements in the interface. This is why many prefer Libertex over more technical or overwhelming platforms.

The combination of media presence, technological variety, and educational approach puts Libertex in an attractive position for those looking to get started in the world of trading without facing technical obstacles from the beginning.

User experience at Libertex

The Libertex experience stands out for its professional management and clear focus on persuasion within its platform. From the first login, notifications and reminders about market opportunities and movements aim to capture attention and keep the user engaged. This type of communication can be appealing or overwhelming, depending on the trader's profile.

The intuitive interface makes life especially easy for those new to trading. Simple menus, clear charts, and straightforward navigation allow even the most inexperienced users to perform basic operations without fear of getting lost. The design prioritizes simplicity, eliminating technical barriers that often cause frustration on more advanced platforms.

Regarding Libertex customer service, several contact methods are offered:

  • WhatsApp
  • Live chat
  • Email
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section

This variety allows for quick answers to questions, although response times can be longer than desired compared to leading platforms in the sector. The quality of support is adequate for general inquiries, but for complex or urgent matters, the delays can be a drawback.

The service meets the essentials, but those seeking immediate answers or personalized attention might find better alternatives with brokers that have more robust and agile support teams.

Libertex commission and spread system

Libertex operates with a fixed commission model and no spreads on its main platform.

🔍 What does this mean?

  • No spreads: The buy and sell price is the same, so there is no difference between them (spread = 0).
  • Fixed commission per transaction: Instead of charging a spread, Libertex applies a percentage commission on the value of the transaction, which varies depending on the instrument (for example, 0.015% for certain currency pairs).

This model differs from the one used by most brokers with variable spreads. It's transparent, but its advantages can vary depending on trading volume and style.

However, there is one important exception:

⚠️ Exception: Libertex MT4/MT5 (MetaTrader)

When you trade through MetaTrader 4 or 5 with Libertex, spreads do apply, as the model on those platforms changes and functions more like a traditional broker. In that case:

  • The spread varies depending on the instrument and market conditions.
  • The commission may be included in or added to the spread, depending on the account type.

Deposits, withdrawals and regulation: Keys to evaluating the reliability of a broker like Libertex

Deposit Options at Libertex

Libertex offers a variety of deposit options, providing users with great flexibility. You can choose from:

  • Cash
  • Online banking
  • Electronic processors
  • Cryptocurrencies (particularly on the TRC20 network, known for its low fees)

These options ensure convenience and accessibility in the deposit process.

Withdrawal methods at Libertex

Regarding withdrawal methods, Libertex offers similar options to those for deposits. However, there are some important limitations. Withdrawals can be made through:

  1. Cards
  2. Bank transfers
  3. Cryptocurrencies with high fees on the ERC20 network, which can be a discouraging factor for some users.

Libertex regulation and its impact

Libertex's regulation in Cyprus and Belarus is a crucial aspect to consider. These jurisdictions have less stringent regulations compared to countries like the United States, Australia, Canada, or those in Europe. This less stringent regulation could mean a lower level of security for users.

risk assessment

The implications for user security should be carefully evaluated. Less stringent regulation may increase the risks associated with trading on this platform. It is essential to understand these regulatory differences before deciding to use Libertex as your primary broker.

Psychological aspects and verification in trading with Libertex: A greater risk?

At Libertex, the identity verification process for withdrawing money isn't completed when you open the account, but only when you decide to withdraw funds. This can cause unexpected delays right when you want to withdraw your money.

This system can also act as a form of indirect pressure: by postponing withdrawal, some traders are tempted to continue trading with the money instead of withdrawing it, falling into psychological biases such as the fear of "missing an opportunity" or the need to recover losses.

⚠️ Recommendation:

If you're going to trade with Libertex (or any broker), fully verify your account from the start, even if you don't plan to withdraw funds immediately. This will prevent annoying delays and impulsive decisions when you want to access your money.

THE ADVISORS (be very careful)

We already know what Libertex and what it offers technically. But now it's time to analyze a very delicate point: The advisors.

The truth is, it's not necessarily a bad thing for a broker to have advisors. They can often help you with opening an account, submitting required documents, or even using the trading platform.

The problem with Libertex advisors is that they don't just offer technical advice; they also tell you which assets to buy or sell. And that's a big problem.

I'm going to tell you clearly.

Libertex's advisors are paid clowns; they're not traders and they know nothing about investing. They'll pressure you to invest all your money with the promise of easily doubling your capital.

The truth is that they charge a commission on what you deposit with the broker; they care little or nothing about making your money grow.

It's common for you to lose everything very quickly with the advice they give. They know it, but they don't care.

They're focused on their own thing: the commission.

And one thing needs to be clear here. Libertex is not an investment broker (at least it's not known for that). It's a trading broker, that is, a short-term speculator.

That's not a bad thing; I use these types of brokers all the time. But to trade, you need to know what you're doing. You need experience.

A trader knows how to use the platform (usually MetaTrader), understands CFDs and Forex, and is familiar with lot sizes, spreads, and slippage. Their strategies include various risk management options; many traders use stop-loss orders.

The advisors don't mention any of this. They'll just tell you to buy. And when you lose money, they'll tell you: buy more so you recover quickly.

A disgrace.

Be very careful with the recommendations of Libertex advisors. They're clowns, and they're not there to make you money.

Reviews of Libertex

Libertex reviews

The best according to users:

  • Intuitive interface: Many highlight that the Libertex platform, both on web and mobile, is easy to use and visually appealing, ideal for beginners.
  • Variety of assets: Offers a wide range of CFDs on stocks, cryptocurrencies, indices and commodities.
  • No spreads: Unlike many brokers, Libertex applies fixed commissions and no spreads, which some traders value for its price transparency.
  • Frequent promotions: Users mention bonuses, trading contests, and demo accounts with attractive conditions.

⚠️ The not-so-good aspects according to users:

  • Withdrawal problems: There are several complaints about withdrawal delays or additional verification requests right at the time of withdrawing funds.
  • Aggressive advisory practices: Some users report receiving recommendations or suggestions from advisors that resulted in losing trades.
  • Lack of transparency regarding actual costs: Although it does not use spreads, some feel that the fixed commissions are not entirely clear when trading.
  • The worst part: His ridiculous advisors.

Conclusion:

My final opinion on Libertex is clear: It is not a broker that stands out for offering something that other brokers of its type do not offer.

The conditions may be better or worse, but generally speaking it's just another broker among many, and if you know how to trade you probably won't have any problems.

Things are very different if you're not an experienced trader. That's where Libertex advisors come in.

And as I said, these advisors aren't there to look after your money. They're clowns who will make you lose everything you invest; they're only interested in their commission. Libertex knows this. They don't seem to care.

My advice: Don't waste your time with this broker. There are many better, and even more ethical, options on the market, for both traders and investors.

Risk warning: CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 83% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. Consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

My experience was terrible.
I worked with three different brokers.
They all told me they had the strategy to recover my losses. They'd last three or four trades, and I'd lose everything.
Of course, to invest, you always had to have enough capital to cover your trades. I kept depositing and losing everything.
I complained to Libertex, and they saw my situation and gave me compensation for my losses.
It was 20% of what I'd lost.
A new advisor had me place a trade, and I lost everything they'd given me.

This company is a scam. First, they use deceptive practices, and then when you realize it and want to leave, they make excuses not to return your money. Scammers! Don't be fooled by bought reviews

My experience with Libertex has been the worst thing that could have happened to me. I invested my savings and lost them in three days, all thanks to an advisor who told me to invest, saying he would monitor the price fluctuations. In 20 minutes, I had lost everything. I was dying of anxiety. And all they told me was how terrible his experience was, nothing more

My experience with Forex at Libertex has been fantastic. I started trading Forex exactly a year ago, and it's an excellent option that I've absolutely loved. At first, I only read the blog articles, because they have a lot of great content that's perfect for anyone new to investing. For example, a few days ago I was reading an article about CFDs that's excellent for beginners. If you'd like to see more, here's the link.

My experience with Libertad hasn't been very good, as many things have happened on the platform, such as skipping stock losses and losing money, winning trades of, say, $5 and only seeing $4 and not being able to withdraw the money, the two-minute message never arrives in time to enter the code, and they don't respond to what's happening on the platform
