What will you learn in this course?

Ferran Font's approach is focused on teaching you to trade like the professionals do: reading the order flow, understanding the institutional logic, and detecting volume imbalances in real time.

Throughout the course, you will learn to:

  • Read the Order Book and the Time & Sales
  • Trading with real liquidity data
  • Detecting takeovers, spoofing, and market imbalances
  • Apply institutional scalping techniques
  • Develop your own approach based on objective information

Educational approach

One of the great virtues of the course is that it does not impose a single trading system, but provides you with the tools to build your own.

Ferran combines theory, live analysis, and direct practice. Students not only study but also perform in real-world environments, which is crucial for consolidating knowledge.

Trading that adapts to your lifestyle, not the other way around

In the world of trading, there's no single right way to trade. You might prefer to buy and sell currencies (Forex) using simple charts and pure price action, while someone else trades Futures contracts with more advanced tools like volume profile or order flow. Both can be correct. Why? Because every strategy should be adapted to the person using it, not the other way around.

One of the first steps someone who wants to learn to trade should take is to discover what type of trader they want to be, based on their personality, the time they have available each day, their level of risk tolerance, and the money they have.

This, though it may not seem like it, is much more important (and difficult) than one might imagine. If you don't understand your own style, any strategy—no matter how good—will ultimately lead to frustration.

For example, it's no use paying for the best course in the world to perform fast operations if you then realize that you don't have time, or that this pace doesn't match your way of thinking.

Trading isn't a magic formula. It's an activity that needs to be adapted to you, and that's something Ferran Font understands very well.

A different trading course

Ferran Font 's course is not a traditional course. As I've already mentioned, it won't give you a fixed strategy to rely on.

What you'll be taught is a way to read the market through various strategies that you'll then need to combine and adapt to your trading plan. Ferran will give you the tools, but you'll have to build the house you want to live in yourself.

With this course, you will surely learn much more than you will need or ever use in your trading, but it is precisely the fact that so many topics and strategies are covered that makes this course so good and unique.

It will then be up to you to decide whether you want to trade Forex by scalping, swing trading stocks, using an Order Map, via Price Action , or by combining price action with Order Flow. The options are many, one for every trader.

To get a better idea of what Ferran offers in his trading course, I recommend checking out his YouTube channel. Ferran's Instagram is also a good place to familiarize yourself with this trader's style: @ferranfont_trader.

In addition to the videos and educational materials, you will also enjoy a forum where you can interact with the community of students (and alumni), as well as a section where you can leave messages that Ferran will answer publicly for the benefit of all.

Price of courses with Ferran Font:

Ferran Font's website offers different packages, these are: the Basic (€570), the Professional (€880), and the Premium (€2,950) .

If you buy the 'Professional' course, you'll get the 'Basic' course for free. My recommendation is that before signing up for either of these courses, you contact Ferran and ask about their availability.

With the 'Professional' pack you will enjoy the online mentoring that Ferran can offer you, which I believe is more than enough to get you started in this world and take your trading to a new level.

I didn't have the chance to take the ' Premium ' course , but I really don't think it's necessary to invest so much money in a trading course. The Professional course will be fine; the rest is just practice and hours in front of the screen.

Advantages and possible disadvantages

Advantages:

  • Professional training 100% applicable to real trading
  • Instructor with proven experience
  • Lifetime access with updates
  • Live support + community

⚠️ Disadvantage:

  • It can be intense; it's a course with a lot of information.
  • The fact that there isn't a single, universally applicable strategy can confuse students who are used to simpler trading

Opinions about Ferran Font's course

Review by Juan Antonio Gómez Nebot of Ferran Font's course. He rates it as the best trading course he has ever taken, praises the instructor's clarity in explaining complex concepts, and values the educational content, which ranges from beginner to advanced levels. He mentions receiving a lot of support throughout the process and is very grateful. Rating: 5 stars.
User reviewer ysgramor-heaven says Ferran Font is one of the few mentors who truly understands investing. Despite discovering him through YouTube, he fully trusts his method and recommends him. He notes that his own trading system closely resembles the one Ferran teaches. Rating: 5 stars.

Conclusions:

At Order Book Trading, you'll find a stock market course from someone who is passionate about the markets. A course from someone with a wealth of experience and wisdom to share. Ferran is a trader who trades every day, every week, every month.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge and is willing to take trading very seriously in order to learn to trade like the professionals. It is, by far, one of the stock market and trading courses where I have learned the most and enjoyed the most. The reviews on Trustpilot confirm this.

This is a stock market course for working hard, knowing that the road is long and that a trader is not formed in three weeks (you can find other opinions about Ferran Font's course here).

In short, at Order Book Trading you will find a trading course , created by a professional trader who trades daily and knows every detail of this business.

It's truly a course that's not to be missed.

I found Ferran through this website and decided to take one of his courses. It's been a great experience to be with a professional in the field. I didn't know anyone in the industry, and I've been able to see how trading works, how it's done, and how people experience it. I don't think the course will disappoint anyone. As you can see in his videos, Ferran has a fantastic way of explaining the techniques and procedures involved in trading. The course covers a wide variety of platforms, the latest trading techniques, discussions of different viewpoints from renowned professionals in the field, and delves into various trading methodologies. I just finished the course and I'm thrilled with it. I hope it continues to be very popular and successful. Leaving this review is my way of thanking him for his dedication to the students and his willingness to share all his knowledge. If anyone signs up for the course through this website, don't forget the promo, haha, which is what happened to me!.

Hi Camilo,

Ferran uses Order Flow tools in his course, but 70% or 80% of it focuses on market structure and price action. On the other hand, Ferran's course covers several strategies, usually on higher timeframes (although you can certainly adapt them later), so I think there's still something to learn. However, I recommend you contact him and discuss your background as a trader, as he'll be able to tell you better than I can how much his course can contribute to your development.

Hi, I'm thinking of starting with Ferran Font. I know that over time I'll gain experience and expand my knowledge, but besides this course, do you think it would be a good idea to take another one? I have about 30 books waiting to be read (a compilation I made of the most recommended ones). What do you think? Should I stick with Ferran Font and the books I already have, or take another course in addition to Mr. Font's? Thanks in advance.

Hi Jolex,

If you've already decided to take Ferran's course, I honestly think you should wait until you finish it before considering another course (or even choosing which books to read). You most likely won't need another course after Ferran's, and if you do, it will only be to delve deeper into some of the concepts covered (e.g., how to trade using only the DOM). What you will need is time to test your strategies. Ferran will present several trading methods, and which one best suits your lifestyle will depend on that. My advice? Wait, and based on everything you learn in the course, decide where to take your trading.

Hello again.
I just asked a question on another of your pages about a different course, specifically Amarga FX.
Now, reading your review of Ferran, it sounds better than the other course and seems to cover many similar aspects and tools.
Which of the two would you recommend? I'm not sure if I have much experience in trading, but I want to continue learning until I achieve consistency and a strategy that I like and that fits my lifestyle and work, since I'm a doctor.
Thanks.

Hi Carlos,

I just replied to your other comment, specifically mentioning the variable 'that it suits your lifestyle'. Based on what you've told me here, I would assume that Ferran's course would be a better fit for what you're looking for, but as I said in the other comment, it would be best if I wrote back to you so you could give me more details about what you're looking for and that way I can offer you a more tailored opinion.

I'm quite interested in the course, but I have a few small doubts.

I started trading a little over two months ago through a free course by Hyenuk Chu, which covers trading stock options. I learned a lot from him, but I feel that at the end of the process, something more concrete is missing: a clear and concise strategy to follow, with clear patterns.

Do you think I, with this background, would be a good candidate for this course?
I've already developed a certain fondness for the stock options market. Do you think Ferran Font's course would be suitable for me, or will I necessarily have to switch markets (to Forex, for example)?

Greetings and thank you for this very accurate analysis.

Hi Julian,

I think anyone is a candidate for this course; it just might take some people a little longer than others to grasp the concepts depending on their background (for those just starting out, the learning curve will be a bit longer, that's all... but eventually we all get to the same place). The truth is, in your case, having taken a course before, you won't have any problem at all.

Regarding the possibility of continuing to trade options, in theory, strategies should be adaptable to this market (as to any other), but the truth is I've never traded options and I'm not entirely sure what the differences would be. Ideally, you should contact Ferran directly; he'll be able to tell you better than I can (you can send him a message through his website)

I hope my answers have been helpful.

Hello everyone,

I started Ferran's course a few weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it.

I became interested in trading a few years ago and had taken some courses before, but this one is nothing like my previous experiences. The curriculum is very interesting, and having live classes with the instructor and being able to ask questions directly allows you to progress quickly if you're serious about it.

I am very happy to have chosen him, Ferran has a way of seeing the market that has helped me a lot to understand it better.

All the best,

Hello, I'm very interested in this course. I'm sure I'll learn a lot, but I have a question. I've been studying the free material from TendeciasFX for almost a year now, and I'm wondering if the knowledge I've gained so far from TendeciasFX is useful as a foundation for Ferran Font's course

Hi Johnny,

Of course that knowledge is useful. In fact, someone starting with no prior knowledge should also be able to grasp everything taught in Ferran's course; it will just take them a little longer. If you've taken the TendenciasFX course, rest assured you won't have any problems.

Hello, I'm very interested in this course. I spurred myself into the world of trading after reading Enrique Diaz Valdecantos's *The Wickoff Method*. I have some basic knowledge, just four months of experience trading forex, testing simple strategies with indicators, etc. I think it was more difficult to understand forex, especially in these times of high volatility. I'm intrigued by the concepts of volume and price, but these aren't used much in forex. How can I register for the course, and will I have any problems with my time zone (GMT -5)?

Hello! Good day to everyone.
First, I want to thank this site because it introduced me to Ferran Font's course. If I hadn't found this website, I most likely would have chosen a different course that invests heavily in marketing and YouTube videos.
I confess I'm a beginner; I've never taken a course, much less attended a live one, but I made a mistake and I'd like some advice.
I was very excited and determined to take the course, so I contacted Ferran and explained my situation (that I wanted to take the course but would wait until May when I finished my studies). He understood, and that's how we left it for the time being (that was two months ago).
Out of curiosity, I started researching more on my own and came across his YouTube channel where he shares some insights into his trading mindset. This devastated me. I barely understood anything he was saying, much less the logic behind his trades, and it even seemed like he contradicted himself during the trades.
I'm returning to this site because I want to know if others have experienced the same thing but have managed to overcome that setback, understand its philosophy, and apply the concepts taught. Finally, I don't know Ferran personally, except through our email exchanges, but I feel he's a good person, which I consider incredibly important in a tutor.

Thank you again and I look forward to your replies.

Hi Nicolas,

I'll answer based on my experience. I'm doing a little copy/pasting because just yesterday I received a question via email that can be adapted to the answer I want to give you: 'Ferran's course isn't like those courses where you're given a fixed strategy. With Ferran, you'll see several strategies and tools, and then, depending on your personality, capital, and time, you'll adapt some strategies to your trading style. You'll combine the strategies with the tools, practice, discard what you don't like, practice again, and so on. It's likely that before finding your trading style, you'll develop 6 or 7 systems (at least that's been my experience). Eventually, you'll arrive at what you were looking for.' I haven't found any contradictions in his teaching; it's possible that in a live session he might get confused when conveying an idea because he has so much to explain. In my trading, I've tried to incorporate some things from Ferran's course. Not everything suits my style, but that's precisely what I liked most about the course: being able to put together a trading plan. And if it doesn't work for me or my situation changes (I used to scalp, now I try to place only one or two trades a day and let them run), I can create another trading plan knowing that I have other tools at my disposal and I'm not tied to a system.

I hope my version of the story has been helpful. But honestly, if you're not comfortable with Ferran's teaching style or find the amount of information he tries to convey overwhelming, you might want to opt for a more traditional course. The important thing is that you get off to a good start.

Thank you for your honesty!
As I mentioned, I wisely decided to finish my studies and then focus 100% on learning to trade, but I made the mistake of watching these videos without the necessary context and understanding. As you rightly point out, Ferran's course isn't traditional, and I also agree with you that he might have gotten confused trying to convey an idea while trading and recording (the fact that he does both at the same time is admirable). Finally, your response and Yeshe's comment have reassured me, so now I'm sure I'll take the course. One last question: can I use the discount you have in May?

Admin

Reply to  Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

In theory, the discounts don't expire. But the decision isn't up to me; all the discounts I have are subject to the conditions set by the trading schools and/or platforms (in short, I have no reason to believe they will expire, but if Ferran decides to suspend the discounts, I will have to stop offering them)

I would describe Ferran as a rare bird in this industry, for his generosity in sharing all his knowledge and expertise in a course at a very affordable price. Even if it cost five times more, I would still recommend it. I certainly identified with your words, since I too have taken a huge number of courses, and frankly, there's nothing else like this one, or at least I haven't found one. In my case, I came to Ferran's course through a recommendation from a former student, and to this day, I only have words of gratitude for that person who put Ferran in my path. Of course, before enrolling, I bombarded him with questions, and as I later discovered, you're dealing with a genuinely good person with immense patience, charisma, and empathy for those of us who lack his vast knowledge. He's always willing to help even if you don't choose his course.
To those wondering if this course is right for them, I'd say that I started with modest results, and in a very short time, with the course and my dedication, I'm seeing much better results. Perhaps most importantly for me, I have a feeling (I know it's intangible, but I value it highly) of starting to develop a robust trading strategy. Specifically, I'd like to highlight the module within the course dedicated to chart structure. In my case, it was a turning point. Now I see things I didn't even know existed in a chart. Of course, the tools and all the literature regarding volume are fantastic, but I wanted to make that special mention of chart structure because, honestly, it's been a game-changer for me.
Finally, and to avoid making too long a comment, I believe you won't find any other course with a similar level of satisfaction from former students. This is due to the price, the material covered, the study tools, and of course, because you're guided by a true professional who, to top it all off, is a good guy—affable, with a natural talent for teaching, and transparent.
The pinnacle of excellence awaits anyone who takes his course and applies passion, enthusiasm, and perseverance. Best regards.

Hello, I'm going to buy the course; it seems very interesting. I've tried many courses, but so far I haven't had the desired results. I really enjoy trading with trend lines. Which course do you recommend to improve my trading technique using trend lines, support, and resistance? Thank you very much.

Reply to  Jose

Hi Jose,

If you're looking for a recommendation, in my humble opinion, the most outstanding are the top three in the ranking I'm sharing: Ferran Font, Futures Trading, and Valdecantos (Price and Volume). They all work with price action and place special emphasis on breakouts and retests, which is what you're looking for (although each has their own method for making entries). Ideally, you should contact all of these schools and take note of the one that best suits your needs. Mention that you've already taken other courses and see what they offer. If it's more of the same, perhaps you don't need a new course but simply discipline or a different perspective.

To be honest, I came across Ferran Font through experienciatopstep.com and at first I was worried that Ferran's course might not be the best option for people with little experience.

To my surprise, I actually recommend this course for people with and especially without experience, since you immediately skip learning things that are useless... Here, you don't waste time with MACD, RSI, moving averages, chart patterns, support and resistance, etc.

Ferran focuses on what works and, above all, what professionals use.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with the OrdenBook course and, so far, I have no complaints.

If anyone is undecided between this course and another, I would recommend this one. Although it might be more complex at first, it's worth it. It's just a matter of putting in the hours and taking trading as seriously as a business. I also want to add that no matter how good a trading course is, it doesn't guarantee anything. In the end, it depends on you and mastering your inner demons
